About Us

Trevena Glen Farm is family owned and operated by Katie & Lindsay, Liz & Alan.  Our aim is to provide a unique farm experience where people of all ages can enjoy a variety of activities within close proximity to Brisbane city.
Mechanical Engineering is Lindsay's profession and is currently working in the oil and gas industry based in Brisbane as a Mechanical Project Manager. Having married Katie several years ago, they now have two young children - Liam and Aliyah. Lindsay is a passionate planner and in his role of Managing Director for Trevena Glen he helps to keep everyone on track.
With a long background in electronics engineering, Alan is our techo computer geek! Whether it is databases, websites, networking, or anything electronic or computing, Alan will be into it. His official role on the farm is administration but is just as comfortable driving the tractor.
The garden is where you will often find Liz where she loves to nurture plants of all varieties where they are nice to look at or nice to eat. She is a wonderful organiser having had the experience of raising four children (Katie being the second) and if you can't find her in the garden, is now probably helping to mind at least some of her five grand-children. She is a trained teacher with rich experience in children's education including a number of years in special education. With her organising talent, Liz is responsible for our education program content and arranges all of our group excursions and birthday parties.

Married to Lindsay and daughter of Alan and Liz, Katie has always had a passion for horses. She has a Certificate III in Sport Coaching Equestrian and currently provides lessons for beginner riders to advanced (including Adults). Along with Lindsay she has years of experience in youth work, having trained and held a position as a high school chaplain for several years prior to devoting herself to raising her own children. Katie has a Diploma in Social Science majoring in Youth Work and Psychology. Katie loves all kinds of animals and manages our livestock activities at Trevena Glen - with particular responsibility for Horse Riding Coaching.
